Project Natal for Xbox 360 Makes You the Controller

Project Natal, announced by Microsoft at this years E3 Gaming Expo, looks like it could become a serious rival to the Nintendo Wii. Project Natal is a gadget that incorporates an RGB camera, a depth sensor, a microphone, and a custom processor to make it all work. The device tracks body movement both in 2D and 3D and makes you the controller in a game. Catch a sweet video, and much more after the jump.

The MP3 Experiment, hosted and created by Improv Everywhere, is a wonderful event in which hundreds of people gather in one place wearing solid colored t-shirts, and plug in their headphones to listen to a predetermined song and perform funny instructions. Do you remember last years? Brian came with me this time and we had a blast.

New Team Fortress 2 Sniper Update: Jarate + Achievements (Day Seven)

 

The Sniper has finally overtaken the Spy!  Hooray for low respawn time! Jarate, the jar-based karate, has finally come!

New Team Fortress 2 Update- Pre-Load It!

As I started up Steam a while ago, the news page came up and offered me the chance to preload the new update so I could play it automatically when it came out.  Naturally, I accepted.  They are also letting anyone who pre-loads it to play for free the entire extended holiday weekend, so you have nothing to lose!  The free play will probably start on Friday at midnight, and is available for pre-load on Thursday.  I'm pretty sure that every server will be completely trashed and laggy, but this update is much better than the previous ones because VALVE is releasing both Sniper and Spy, so they can balance each other out.  If you see me, I'll be owning everyone as a spy disguised as a sniper, so watch your backs this weekend!

New Team Fortress 2 Spy Update: Meet The Spy + Achievements! (Day Five)

VALVE has graced us with the gift of achievements.  Achievements for the Spy, that is!  Plus, many of you have probably heard or seen the new "Meet the Spy" video created by VALVE that was leaked to YouTube.  VALVE has addressed that whole issue with everyone publicly on the achievements page, and did it in a fantastically nice, non-angered way.  These guys are great!  They haven't announced anything new for the sniper, or any new weapons for the spy, or even the details of each spy achievement.  However, I can sense that this huge update is going to be coming out soon.  Very soon.

Meet The Spy Video LEAKED (OFFICIAL)

Long story short, the "Meet the Spy" video by VALVE has been leaked, and is now floating around on the intertubes.  Seriously, one of the best videos yet.

Team Fortress 2 "Meet the Spy" Video Secretly Uploaded to YouTube

Notified via the Team Fortress forums, you can catch a small screenshot of the upcoming "Meet the Spy" video on YouTube. When you try and watch it, it says the video has been removed by the user (Valve's official Youtube channel). This means that the video and information, along with the thumbnail, won't be up for much longer. But I managed to take a screenshot of it (what you see above). Meet the Spy is the second video down.
